Position Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Mississauga
Compensation: TBD
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working closely with the Field Supervisors, Project Coordinators organize and coordinate field staff and equipment. 
Maintain the master work schedule, including the assignment of people and equipment to projects 
Forecast and track field staff availability 
Track the mix of field staff skillsets (e.g GEO, GPR etc) and identify skill mix issues in planning 
Check field staff timesheets against work instructions and time standards and enter into the system 
Communicate schedule and work assignments to field staff 
Ensure work instructions and equipment are available each day 
Ensure the fleet is available, tracking and recording the fleet maintenance schedule and availability and directing for maintenance/repair as needed 
Ensure equipment is available for jobs, tracking and recording equipment and directing for repair as required 
Deal with scheduling issues and conflicts as they arise internally and with clients 
Encourage and respond to repeat and/or simple locating requests; providing rates and quotations and entering the order into the system 
Coordinate records and utility locates for customers 
Coordinate records and utility locates to support company projects 
Process sales orders into the system 
Compile work packages defined by the Project Managers and others to provide tasking instructions for the operations team 
Collect and enter into a database sub-surface data from other sources 
Arranging for permits 
General office administrative tasks 
Other duties as assigned. 
 
Job Requirements: High school diploma required 
2-3 years’ experience in an office administration environment 
Strong customer service skills especially by phone 
Well organized and calm under pressure 
Collaborative team player 
Self-starting and able to act with little supervision
