Position Title: Insolvency agent
Location: Scarborough
Compensation: $14.25 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: We are looking for a competent Insolvency Administrator to perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing insolvency claims, scanning and dealing with Trustees and Credit Counselors.
An effective Administrator has the ability to work diligently to help maintain the filing and scanning of claims. The Administrator must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with office equipment and procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
Processing proof of claims and forwarding to various trustees and credit counseling services
Following up to make sure documentation was received and when payments are forthcoming
Scanning documentation to the various accounts on the system
Perform other office duties as assigned
Job Requirements: Familiarity with office procedures
Excellent communication skills
Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Qualifications/Experience:
College diploma (or previous experience in administration/clerical role in a customer-centric professional organization)
Extremely detailed oriented
Business Acumen
Organizational skills to organize workload
Computer skills to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Analytical skills
Written communication, spelling, grammar and proofreading/editing skills to compose letters, memos, etc.
Good communication skills to speak effectively with clients, staff and other third parties
Interpersonal skills to deal with team members, staff and clients
Able to learn other computer software quickly
Ability to prioritize and multi task
Ability to work in a fast pace environment with quick turnaround time
Excellent command of the English language --- Bilingualism in French is a preferred asset !
