|Position Title:||Deli Kitchen Meat Cutter|
|Compensation:||$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Depending on Experience|
|Hours:||37-40 hours per week|
|Job Description:||Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Responsible for cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
Prepare specialty foods such as beef briskets, poutine, and fries, following specific methods that usually require a short preparation time.
Operate cooking equipment such as the grill and deep fryers.
Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions about food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
Coordinate with and assist fellow employees in meeting guests’ needs and supporting the operation of the restaurant.
Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Mix ingredients such as sauces, gravy, seasoning, and marinating.
Willing to train new Employees.
|Job Requirements:||Customer service driven.
Meat Cutting and Meating cutting machine operating experience is an asset.
Retail experience is an asset.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Good product knowledge and attention to detail.
