Position Title: Technical/Help Desk Support Specialist

Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: As Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing remote and occasional on-site support to end users. As a help desk support specialist you will also analyze and resolve problems associated with server, desktops, notebooks, networking hardware, managed LAN Security, and monitor networks and server performance. Your focus will be on call resolution as well as customer satisfaction
Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
Provides support to end users on a variety of issues 
Ready to research questions using online searches, manuals, publications and variety of resources, including other IT staff and vendors to troubleshoot and answer customer questions
Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, piloting, testing and launch of new hardware, software and apps
Helps create Help Desk/desktop communications, announcements and presentations to the company and sub groups
Manages, maintains and improves technical documentation
Job Requirements: Minimum 2 -3 years working with Windows® workstations & servers and computer networks
Must hold excellent oral and written communication skills 
Excellent time management and organizational skills adept at effectively dealing with multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
Must have previous working experience with phone, email support and desk side support 
Must have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a computer-related discipline or equivalent experience
Expert troubleshooting skills of Windows®10, Windows® Server2019, Antivirus software, Microsoft® Office365 and Exchange
Experience with network technologies –Firewalls, Routers, Email Gateways, Spam appliance etc.
Experience with Remote Management and Professional Services Automation (PSA) software will be an asset
A valid driver license and vehicle is an asset
