|Position Title:||Administrative Assistant|
|Hours:||30 hours per week|
|Job Description:||Working in collaboration with the Director Operation and COO, this position requires coordinating complex clinic schedules and be the resource for non-clinical information, scheduling and answering phone calls.
Schedule, coordinate and confirm referrals and appointments, using judgment to reschedule or book according to changing priorities, ensuring appointments are booked within provincial access targets.
Billing for patients
|Job Requirements:||Post-secondary education in office administration (preferably medical) or a combination of experience and relevant education.
Scheduling experience in a busy clinic setting is an asset.
6 months-1 year of recent experience as a Medical Office Administrator preferred.
Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Exceptional verbal communication skills in English with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal), organization and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the position.
Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to accept assigned or delegated functions.
Demonstrated ability to remain focused, flexible, and prioritize tasks in a busy and high-stress environment.
