Position Title: Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant

Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: At this time, we are seeking a Licensed Immigration Consultant with superior presentation and selling / closing abilities and minimum two (2) or more years of experience advising on all types of Canadian immigration matters including permanent and temporary-based applications
Conducting initial and follow-up consultations, and advising clients on their application requirements, processes and the relevant laws applicable to their specific situations;
Managing the initial steps of the client retention process, including: Following developed sales scripts; Preparing engagement letters for client signatures;
Overseeing the billing process; Collecting case-specific information and documentation from the clients;
Keeping detailed notes of the consultation findings and pathways recommended;
Reviewing and assessing documentation to determine applicants’ eligibility and identify any deficiencies;
Proactively keeping up to date with changes to immigration laws, regulations, policies / procedures and application processing times;
Ensuring all emails and voicemails are responded to within 24-48 hours, and setting client expectations in support of the smooth transitioning of client files to their designated legal teams;
Utilizing legal case management tracking systems (Clio, Sales Force); and
Upholding ethical standards and compliance standards.
Job Requirements: Valid License with the RCIC in good standing or Bachelor of Law degree from an accredited post-secondary institution;
Minimum two (2) years of experience of providing immigration-related legal advice within a fast-paced organization;
