Job Description: The Network Administrator is responsible for providing architecture, installation, configuration, escalation point and integration support, capacity planning, reporting, trend analysis, and project management of Martinrea's WAN, LAN, VPN, Firewall, Cloud connectivity and Wireless solutions. Additional areas of support may include, but are not limited to PBX, SIP, General Voice and A/V infrastructure.

Essential Functions:
Manage corporate IT systems and global network infrastructure.
Assess and analyze business, security and system requirements, research, explore options and to recommend solutions to meet requirements.
Ensures system design and configuration are aligned to the security framework.
Manage virtualized environments including converged and hyperconverged solutions
Perform as a Project team member on large projects that are cross-functional and technically difficult
Manage hosted VoIP service and video conferencing system.
Provide guidance and act as an escalation point for cross-functional IT departments
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Lead and manage IT/Facilities projects as required.

Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience supporting large multi-site enterprise environment.
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems or computer engineering.
Experience supporting datacenter infrastructure, VMware, servers, systems administration and disaster recovery solutions.
VMware certification would be an asset.
Minimum Cisco CCNP / CCIE certification would be an asset.
Hands on support of MS Exchange, O365, Azure, MSSQL, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, SNMP, HTTPS and monitoring and reporting systems would be an asset.
Strong technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including Microsoft Server, VMware, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365/Exchange Online, and Microsoft Exchange On-Prem, and Citrix.
Excellent knowledge of SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel technologies
Strong technical knowledge and experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Solarwinds Monitoring solutions, Microsoft Azure and Hybrid Cloud Architectures.
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Skilled at anticipating and resolving issues, getting to root cause, and identifying opportunities for improvement while aligning systems to best practice.

Comfortable in leading initiatives, and at times being an active participant in initiatives.
Effective oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting plans and engaging input with the client

Proven experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting and providing support for a variety of Cisco and non-Cisco solution.
Excellent critical thinking capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and security challenges
