|Position Title:||Hand Soldering / Hand Placement Operator|
|Hours:||35-40 hours per week|
|Job Description:||The Hand soldering / Hand Placement Operator will be responsible to safely perform hand soldering, inspection and rework of all thru-hole assemblies as
per Engineering specifications and IPC workmanship standards.
Manual assembly of electronic components including complex projects according to assembly books, custom specs and quality standards
Mechanical assembly as required
Component preparation, placement or installation
Final assembly as required
Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated regularly
Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives
2 Positions Available 1 Morning Shift/1 Afternoon
|Job Requirements:||Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
Ensures the work area is kept clean and that safety rules are followed.
Participates in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement.
Previous experience working on SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies
Solid understanding in IPC or ANSI-J technical standards
Ability to read and understand assembly documentation
Ability to hand solder, desolder and identify solder bridging
Ability to rework printed circuit assemblies and replacing components
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Manual dexterity; good hand to eye coordination
Basic communication skills in both written and oral English
