Position Title: QC PSI & FVM Inspector
Location: Markham
Compensation: TBD
Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Job Description: The purpose of this role is to perform quality control inspections on products according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards.
Conducts quality control inspections on products according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards (i.e.  performs incoming, in-process, quality control inspections)
Confirm the correct colour coding (value) on resistors
Completes necessary quality control documentation (i.e.  collects inspection data as per inspection procedure;  records inspection data using control charts)
Completes Shortage Report for missing and damaged components
Conducts First Article Inspections and post-MA hardware inspections (FVM)
Use of microscope and X-ray inspections as per customer requirements
Performs rework of SMT and fine pitch SMT assemblies (including RMAs)
Provides feedback to team  
Assists in training of new inspectors as assigned
Participates in team quality meeting(s) and provides feedback to team on issues identified after troubleshooting
Participates in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated regularly
Participates in all team level quality improvement initiatives
4 Positions Available 2 Morning Shift/2 Afternoon Shift
Job Requirements: Minimum 2 years electronic assembly, rework and inspection experience 
Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality standards; Knowledge of IPC A 600 - Acceptability of Printed Circuit Boards and IPC 610 - Acceptability of Electronic Assembly is preferred
Strong understanding and application of workmanship standards
Thorough understanding and application of quality standards and control procedures
Detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical and reliable
Ability to understand and communicate in written and oral English is essential
Enthusiasm and ability to work well independently
A positive team attitude
Flexibility to work shifts according to business needs
