Position Title: Service Technician-Professional, Scientific and Technical Services
Location: Richmond Hill
Compensation: DOE
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description: You would be a service technician with field duties while maintaining customer satisfaction and promoting the company product and service. The technician would work towards the training plan to be certified in various
petroleum products to carry out warranty work on behalf of the manufacturers and licensed technician. There is after hours and emergency response responsibilities required. Also, you will be required to sell product lines and provide  customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of electronic or electrical work (skill set would be beneficial)
Experience in industry is preferred but not a must
Willing to work with electronics, electrical and mechanical equipment
Ability to multi task
Good computer skills
Proven ability to coordinate simultaneous activities in jobs
Willing to work on call schedule rotational basis (after hours and weekend)
Other duties as required
On the job and Manufacturer equipment training would be provided by Dart Petroleum
Part of the employee development is to obtain the required industry specific license to service (Technical Standards and Safety Authority- Petroleum Mechanic Level PMH and PM1), WHMIS and Petroleum Oriented Safety Training and maintain petroleum equipment and systems provided by Dart Petroleum Services.
Available to work “on call –emergency call” rotational weekdays after hours and weekends when emergency
Job Requirements: We are looking for someone to work as a field service technician with strong customer service skill. The successful candidate should have
Computer skills ;Microsoft Office – Excel/Word/Outlook
Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
Good time management skills and reporting
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the industry is preferred, but not necessary.
Driver’s License minimum G with a drivers abstract
